Valentine's Day is upon us and it's getting close to decision time. Here's a collection of New York City restaurants offering special Valentine's Day menus and some pre-Valentine events. But don't wait too long before some of these places are booked solid!

On Valentine's Day, Enrique Olvera & Daniela Soto-Innes’ ATLA offers a 4-course prix fixe menu with options for the table, including two starters, one cold and one hot, a shared main course, and dessert for two, for $125 for two and an optional wine pairing for $75 for two. Also available are specialty á la carte cocktails prepared by beverage director, Yana Volfson.

In celebration of Valentine’s Day Black Tap locations nationwide are rolling out the Red Velvet Cake Shake, the perfect sweet treat to indulge in with your loved one, your friend, or just keep to yourself! The shake is a red velvet cake batter shake with a vanilla frosted rim with red and white sprinkles topped with a slice of red velvet cake, whipped cream and a chocolate drizzle. Now that’s love.

Bottino, the Italian art world dining destination that has been feeding the Chelsea community for over two decades, will serve a playful three-course menu crafted by Chef Jamie Kenyon ((Daniel, Bar Boulud, Manzo at Eataly, Perla and La Sirena). The menu will begin with a glass of champagne or a blood orange elderflower spritz. For the first course, guests can choose from Seared Mediterranean Octopus, 'ndjua and fingerlings (Sucker For You); Housemade Agnolotti stuffed with ricotta and squash (Pillow Talk); as well as Chicken and Duck Liver Mouse Bruscetta, with pickled red onion (Try The Gray Stuff it’s Delicious). For the second course opt for Braised Pork Cheek and soft polenta with mascarpone (Cheek to Cheek); Housemade Pappardelle with oxtail ragu (Beast of Burden); and Market Fish with wine-braised leeks and crispy artichoke (Want to Dive into Your Ocean). For desert a speciality surprise Dessert for Two will be served aptly named Sweet Talker. The menu is priced at $80 per person.

Head Chef Frederick Piccarello (formerly of Le Barricou) is turning the heat up in the kitchen this Valentine’s Day with a French Aphrodisiac-based Valentine’s $75 pre-fixe menu. Oysters Kiev, Trout Amandine, and Chocolate Fondue with Strawberries and Assorted French Macarons are among the love-infused dishes guests can enjoy. Each includes 1 bottle of Sparkling Rose, Champagne or Prosecco.

Brooklyn Cider House, NYC's first cidery, bar and restaurant, will offer a fun and interactive 4-course dinner for Valentine’s Day, with cider catching straight from the barrels between the courses. Their award-winning cider is natural and naturally gluten-free, and the menu also features gluten free and vegetarian options. Starting with bite-size Pintxos, the menu will continue with Crab Cakes or Burrata with sun-dried tomatoes and capers; choice between Surf + Turf, 8 oz. ribeye steak and lobster or Vegetarian Bibimbap, and for dessert Chocolate Tarte or Apple Pie. The prix-fixe with cider-catching is $69 per person.

This Valentine’s Day, Café Altro Paradiso will offer a special three-course, prix fixe menu for $125/person alongside a live music performance and speciality cocktails & wines. To start, chef/owner Ignacio Mattos and chef de cuisine Zach Zeidman will serve oysters with citron mignonette, sea bream crudo and mortadella crostino for the table followed by dishes like carne cruda with buckwheat & black truffle, Arctic char with cabbage & beurre blanc and mezzaluna with lobster, crab and uni. Finish it off on a sweet note with creme caramel with grappa and citrus semifreddo from pastry chef Natasha Pickowicz.

Singles can party the night away at just opened Hell’s Kitchen hotspot Casa Del Toro’s Singles Valentine’s Day. The evening will feature an a la carte menu featuring reinterpreted traditional Oaxacan dishes including the Tlayuda Divorciada (Mexican pizza in the shape of a broken heart), fire-injected cocktails beneath an oversized wooden guitar inspired by the tradition of the Mexican “Vihuela," special aerialist and live saxophonist performances and a complimentary Casadores Tequila tasting.

Casa Ora is hosting a "singles mingle" the night before Valentine's Day. On Thursday, February 13 from 9pm - 1am, for $150, anyone who isn't coupled up this Valentine's Day can spend the night at Casa Ora, a new Venezuelan restaurant in Williamsburg. The $150 will get you a glass of prosecco upon arrival, open bar from a selection of signature cocktails, and a variety of delicious Venezuelan dishes including: Empanaditas (mini empanadas), Arepitas (mini arepas), Guacamole (with plantain chips), Tequeños (fried with guasacaca & habanero sauce), Mandocas (corn doughnuts with sweet plantain, queso blanco & nata), Mini Bollitos Pelones (corn dumplings with ground beef & tomato sauce) + more! This Valentine’s Day, newly opened kappo-style restaurant Chikarashi Isso offers an eight-course prix fixe menu of eclectic fare such as gyu maki with A5 Omi Wagyu, wasabi creme and Kaluga caviar, sea scallop seared in-shell with uni and a selection of tempura and yakitori from chef de cuisine and Torishin alum, Atsushi Kono. For dessert, Chikarashi Isso will be serving a mochi donut with Japanese strawberry, honey and whipped cream.

This Valentine's Day, Cosme offers a 4-course prix fixe menu including signature dishes like the herb guacamole and duck carnitas, as well as new and festive additions like oysters, and dessert for two. Additional á la carte menu items are offered alongside the prix fixe menu. The menu is available for $169 for two, with a beverage pairing available upon request.

For the first time this year, Simon Kim’s Michelin-starred Korean steakhouse, Cote will offer a special Valentine’s Day prix fixe menu for $150/pp featuring six select cuts of steak such as A5 wagyu and beef tenderloin and savory accompaniments. Surprise delights will be available throughout the night from the restaurant’s new, roving “Cote Cart,” while Undercote’s principle bartender Sondre Kasin will be mixing up VDay-inspired cocktails and beverage director Victoria James pouring wines by the glass.

This Valentine's Day, Daniel Humm's acclaimed Eleven Madison Park offers a seven-course tasting menu in both the bar and main dining room. Starting dishes include hot oyster with clam chowder and celery root, and foie gras marinated with maple and apple. For the entree, guests have the option of duck with cabbage or veal cheek with onion. Dessert, a chocolate souffle with passion fruit, brings the meal to a sweet close. Pricing: $395/pp in the main dining room, or $295/pp in the bar with an optional $175 wine pairing at either.

Michelin starred Chef Danny Brown returns via Brooklyn Bridge Park’s Estuary with a romantic menu that includes Riesling Poached Oysters, Butter Poached Maine Lobster and Crescent Duck. Faro, the New American, farm-to-table Bushwick favorite from Chef/owner Kevin Adey, will offer a gastronomic adventure with 5-course tasting menu with options such as Yellowfin Tuna with beets, meyer lemon and kombu; Foie Gras with black truffles; handmade Agnolotti with wild boar ragu; Fazzoletti pasta with chestnut and pecorino; Halibut with parsnip, watercress, sauce anchois or Venison with salsify and wild mushroom ragu. Valentine’s Day is synonymous with chocolate so for dessert Faro will offer choice of White Chocolate or Dark Chocolate. Dinner is $115 per person and natural wine pairing by Beverage Director Siobhan Spencer will also be available.

On Valentine’s Day, Il Fiorista will be serving a three-course, $85 prixe-fixe menu that includes a complimentary seasonal flower bouquet arranged by the restaurant’s floral director, oysters and a glass of prosecco. For the prixe-fixe, guests can select from special dishes such as dover sole with almond crust, fig leaves and radishes, and Elysian Fields lamb loin with rosehip glaze, sweet potato and pomegranate. The a la carte menu will also be available for guests at the bar. On Saturday the 15th and Sunday the 16th, Il Fiorista will serve its regular a la carte brunch menu with the addition of Valentine’s Day specials.

La Pecora Bianca (Various)
This Valentine’s Day celebrate with the ones you love over classic Italian dishes in a cozy, romantic setting at La Pecora Bianca. The restaurant’s NoMad and Midtown locations will be offering a three-course prix-fixe menu for $75/pp. The menu will feature La Pecora Bianca favorites as well as special offerings designed for two. These items, perfect for sharing, include wild mushroom and asparagus with polenta, parmesan and black truffle, ribeye steak with roasted garlic potato gratin and charred broccolini, and the restaurant's famous, instagram-worthy tiramisu.

This Valentine’s Day, the internationally acclaimed seafood restaurant Le Bernardin serves a tasting menu created by chef Eric Ripert in Les Salons on February 14 & 15. The nine-course menu includes yellowfin tuna topped with osetra caviar and lemon créme fraîche, grilled lobster “Mi-Cuit” with charred scallions and sea urchin sauce Américaine, sauteed black bass with maitake-bone marrow and bordelaise sauce, and more. MIFUNE New York, the Michelin-recognized Japanese restaurant in midtown, will be offering a speciality menu for Valentine’s Day crafted by Executive Chef Yuu Shimano (Guy Savoy’s eponymous three Michelin-starred restaurant in Paris) and Chef Tomohiro Urata (three Michelin-starred La Maison Troisgros in Roanne). The seven-course menu will include: Raw Oyster with tosazu gelée, Amuse Bouche, Sautéed Langoustine with lobster bisque foam, Wild New York Sea Bass En Yuzu Croûte with vin blanc saikyo miso sauce, Miyazaki A5 Wagyu Rossini with sauce périgueux, Fruits De Mer Mushroom with takikomi rice and Gâteau Fondant Au Chocolat with a framboise sauce. The menu, which will be available on February 14th and 15th with seatings at 5:30pm and 8:30pm, is priced at $125 per person with an optional $70 wine and sake pairing.

Miss Lily’s (Various)
This Valentine’s Day, Miss Lily’s, the celebrated Caribbean oasis serving authentic Jamaican fare, will offer up a Valentine’s Day special called the “Jerk Lobster Boil” which includes lobster, King crab, shrimp and mussels in their signature hot pepper broth with festival, corn and charred pineapple slaw. The jerk lobster boil special will be available for $38 starting at 5pm while supplies last. The special wil be offered alongside the usual a la carte menu and dinner guests will receive complimentary sparkling wine and fresh-baked takeaway cookies.

Mizu’s Omakase Sushi Experience makes for an “impressive Valentine’s dining date” as it’s upscale dining at the affordable price of $45 per person! Mizu’s high-quality sushi grade fish is sourced from Japan and the cuisine is helmed by Japanese trained Chef Nakao Hirakata, who previously served as the chef/owner of Mishima restaurant for over 20 years. Mizu offers an Omakase Sushi Experience with the Chef’s choice of eight pieces of specialty fish and a negitoro roll. Ole & Steen (Various)
The beloved bakery brings brought its signature rye breads, Scandinavian pastries and all day menu to New York with locations in Union Square, Midtown and Bryant Park. For Valentine's day, the bakers will offer Honninghjerte (a Danish version of a gingersnap cookie covered in chocolate, freeze-dried raspberries and chocolate pearls), along with two pastries with the option to personalize with messages, including a cupcake-sized black forest cake and a traditional vanilla white cake topped with white chocolate chantilly.

The Greenpoint Polish pierogi shop that is currently taking New York by storm will be adding a new variety of heart-shaped and sweet pierogies for one day only this Valentine’s Day.
